Keyboard: ARRAYPATH


Allows to distributed object copies along a path or a portion of a path.

To duplicate objects on a path.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Choose Modify > Array Path.
    • Type arraypath and then press Enter.
  2. Select the object/objects for the array.
  3. Select path curve. Here you can choose a line, polyline, 3D polyline, spline, helix, arc, circle, or ellipse
  4. Choose an option
    • Items: Is related the chosen Method setting, allows to specify the number of items or the distance between items.
    • Method: Controls how to distribute items on the path. You can choose DIVIDE to specify the number of elements or MEASURE to specify the intervals.
    • Align: Allows to specify if the duplicated elements are aligned or tangent to the path. Alignment is relative to the first items orientation.
