Displays the Explorer with the Text Style Name list displayed. You can view, create, copy, or edit fonts.

When you add text to a drawing, it is created using the current text style. The text style determines the font, height, width, oblique angle, and font file. The Text Styles element also controls whether text is annotative by default and whether a font appears and prints backward, upside down, or vertically. You can edit any of these characteristics by single-clicking the characteristic.

Every drawing has at least one text style, named Standard, which initially uses the default progeCAD font. You cannot delete the Standard style, but you can rename it or modify it. For example, you can change the font or the obliquing angle applied to the font. You also can use an unlimited number of additional text styles in your drawing.

In the Explorer, you can create new text styles by clicking the New Item tool (). The program assigns the name, NewStyle1, to the new text style. To rename the text style, right-click the assigned style name and from the shortcut menu, select Rename.

See Font Samples for a list of shape fonts available in progeCAD.
