Keyboard: TEXTEDIT

Alias: DDEDIT

Modifies selected text entities.

Select entity to modify: Select the text you want to edit.

If multiline text is selected, the Multiline Text editor displays.

If attribute definition text is selected, the Edit Attribute Definition dialog box displays.

If single-line text is selected, the Text dialog box displays. However, if TEXTEDITMODE is set to 1, edit text at the command line, or if set to 2, edit the properties of text in the Properties pane.

If dimension text is selected, the Text dialog box displays. You can change the text characters, but not the format.
