Keyboard: COORDINATE

Shortcut: F6, Ctrl+D

Changes the coordinate display on the status line: on, off, and relative coordinates.

To turn on coordinate display

Coordinates are off: ON Angle/Distance <OFF>: To turn on the real-time display of x,y,z-coordinates on the status line, choose ON. For example:

     2.3456, 3.4567, 0.0000

The z-coordinate usually displays 0, unless you set the elevation to a nonzero value, or you are drawing a three-dimensional entity.

To display relative coordinates:

Coordinates are on: OFF Angle/Distance <ON>: To have coordinates displayed in relative polar coordinates, choose Angle/Distance. For example:

     Length = 1.2345 @ Angle = 45.6789

The relative polar coordinates are only displayed during a drawing command.

To turn off the coordinate display:

Coordinates are set to Angle/Distance: ON OFF <Angle/Distance>: To turn off the real-time display of coordinates, choose OFF. The coordinate display is updated each time you click the screen.


TIP Use the Drawing Settings command to change the format of the coordinates, length, and angle displayed on the status bar.
