UNDERLAYFADEDEFAULT

Specifies the fade percentage applied to new underlays when they are attached.

Specify 0 to turn off fading for new underlays. Specify a negative value to turn off fading but retain the value. Use the Properties Pane to change the fade setting for an attached overlay. Changing this system variable only controls the fade for new underlays being attached for the first time.
