ANGBASE
Specifies the zero base angle relative to the current user coordinate system (UCS). Changes to ANGBASE affect dynamic input and polar tracking, but grid and orthogonal remain fixed to the current UCS. ANGBASE is commonly used to set the north direction. For example, in a site plan changing the ANGBASE allows you to easily enter survey land points via distance and angle (bearings relative to the north direction). For other related system variables, see AUNITS, ANGDIR, DYNUSEANGBASE, POLARANG, POLARADDANG and SNAPANG.
