Customize - Image Tile Menus
Use the Customize User Interface dialog box to create and edit image tile menus. An image tile menu is a legacy user interface that displays images (or slides) that when clicked in a custom dialog box start a command. Third-party programs most commonly use image tile menus to insert blocks in drawings. It is recommended to use Tool Palettes instead to create new tools for inserting blocks or running commands.
In the Customize User Interface dialog box, click the Customize tab, select a customization file (for example, ICAD), then choose Image Tile Menus in the list.
To create an image tile menu
Right-click the Image Tile Menus item, select New Image Tile Menu, and enter a name. An alias displays in the Properties area, for example, IMG3001.
Drag commands from the Command List to the newly created image tile menu, and in the Properties area for each command, enter the name of the slide (.sld) file in Slide Label, without the file extension, that you want to associate with the command. Slide (.sld) files are created with the Make Snapshot command.
To add an image tile menu to the user interface
In the Customization area, right-click where you want the image tile menu to display and create a new item. You can add it to any existing menu, toolbar, or ribbon tab (if supported by your program version).
In the Properties area for the item you added, enter the following in Command Name: $I=IMG3001 $I=* where IMG3001 is the alias.
