Cursor Settings dialog box

This dialog box allows you to specify display settings for the cursor. Opens when you click Cursor Settings on the Options new - Display tab.

Display Cursor as Crosshairs Mark to always display the pointer as the crosshairs (instead of the pick box). If unmarked, all subsequent options are unavailable. (This setting corresponds to the CURSORTYPE system variable.)

Crosshairs Size (% of Screen) Enter a value or move the slider to specify the crosshairs size as a percentage of the screen size. Depending on your graphics device, a large percentage can negatively affect display performance. (This setting corresponds to the CURSORSIZE system variable.)

Display Gunsight Crosshairs Mark to display the cursor as the gunsight crosshairs. You can also control this setting by clicking Gunsight Crosshairs On/Off in the status bar. (This setting corresponds to the CROSSHAIRMODE system variable.)

Invert Colors to Contrast Underlying Entities Mark to invert the cursor colors (using a logical XOR) as the cursor moves over entities of a similar color so that the cursor is still visible. You can also control this setting by clicking XOR Cursor On/Off in the status bar. (This setting corresponds to the CURSORMODE system variable.)
