Xref Layer Visibility

Saves modifications to external reference layers. To do so, type visretain and make sure that the feature is On.

You can also turn on external reference visibility in the Explorer.

To turn on external reference visibility using the Explorer

1. Choose Tools > Explorer.
2. From the Elements list, select Layers.
3. From the Layer Name list, select the layer for which you want to save changes.
4. Choose View > Xref Layer Visibility.

A check mark in front of the menu item indicates that the command is turned on.
