Keyboard: STEPIMPORT

Displays the Import STEP File dialog box so you can import a STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product) model data file. You can import an .step, .ste, or .stp file. STEP data is imported as meshes, or it is imported as three-dimensional solids if your program version supports the Spatial® ACIS® modeler.

When the selected file is ready to be imported a balloon message displays in the status bar. Click the file name in the balloon message to complete the import. Zoom to extents to see the imported entities.
