Keyboard: SPOTLIGHT

Adds a spot light to your drawing for rendering. A spot light shines light in the shape of a cone from its location towards the direction you specify when the drawing is rendered using the Artisan command, for versions of progeCAD that include Artisan, or when the drawing is rendered using another third party CAD program.

Spot lights affect some visual styles and renderings but not all.

Lights created with the Spot Light command affect Conceptual and Realistic Visual Styles and Artisan Renderer, but not the Full Render command.

Specify source location <0.0000,0.0000,0.0000>: Enter the x-, y-, and z-coordinates of where to place the spot light, or click the location in the drawing.

Specify target location <0.0000,0.0000,-10.0000>: Enter the x-, y-, and z-coordinates of the location you want to shine light, or click the location in the drawing.

Edit the spot light.

You can move and copy spot lights in your drawing, just as you would any other entity. To specify settings for the spot light, such as shadows and attenuation, right-click the spot light, choose Properties, and make your selections in the Properties pane.
