Point Light

()

Toolbar: Artisan Rendering > Point Light

Keyboard: POINTLIGHT

Alias: FREEPOINT

Adds a point light to your drawing for rendering. A point light shines light from its location in all directions when the drawing is displayed using visual styles that support rendering (Realistic, Conceptual, Shaded, etc.). Point lights can also be used when rendering drawings in Artisan Renderer (in versions of progeCAD that support it), but not the Full Render command.

Specify source location <0.0000,0.0000,0.0000>: Enter the x-, y-, and z-coordinates of where to place the point light, or click the location in the drawing.

Edit the point light.

You can move and copy point lights in your drawing, just as you would any other entity. To specify settings for the point light, such as color and intensity, right-click the point light, choose Properties, and make your selections in the Properties pane.
