Status Bar: Annotation Scales List

Defines the scales that are available to assign to annotative entities. For example, to assign an annotation scale to a text entity, you choose it from the scales list. The list of scales will display when you do any of the following:

  • Set the current annotation scale On the status bar, right-click Annotations Scales List.
  • Assign an annotation scale to an entity Select an entity and use the Properties or Entity Scale command.
  • Print Choose the Print command.

DIALOG BOX OPTIONS

Scale List Displays the scales that are available for annotative entities. A green circle next to a scale indicates that it is used in the drawing. A check mark next to a scale indicates that it is the current annotation scale.

Add Click to create a new scale and add it to the list in the Add Scale dialog box.

Modify Click to modify the selected scale in the Modify Scale dialog box.

Move Up Click to move the selected scale up one position in the list.

Move Down Click to move the selected scale down one position in the list.

Delete Click to remove the selected scale.

Reset Click to remove all custom scales and restore the default scale list.

Purge Click to remove all unused scales from the list. Removing unused annotation scales can increase performance, especially for older drawings from other CAD programs that might have thousands of extra scales.

Import Click to open and load a scales list from a file.

Export Click to save the scales list to a file that you can import into other drawings.

Allow deletion of scales in use Click to allow deleting scales that are used in the drawing.

Show xref scales Click to display scales from attached external references in the list.
