Creates a parallel, offset copy of curves and lines.

 

 

  1. Specify the distance from the original entity for the parallel copy.
  2. Select the entity that you want to parallel.
  3. Select the side where you want the parallel entity located.
  4. Specify which side to place the copy on.

Result.

Specify offset distance or [Through/Erase/Layer]: To specify the distance you want the parallel copy offset enter a value or specify two points. To specify a point through which you want the parallel copy offset, choose Through point. To determine whether to retain or delete the source entity after it is offset, choose Erase and then Yes or No. To specify the layer where the offset entities are created, choose Layer.

To specify the offset distance

Enter the offset distance or specify two points.

Select entity: Select the entity that you want to parallel.

Side for parallel copy [Both sides]: Select the side where you want the parallel copy located (right or left side). To create a parallel copy on both sides, choose Both sides.

Select entity: Select another entity that you want to parallel.

To specify a point through which the entity is offset

Choose Through point.

Select entity: Select the entity that you want to parallel.

Specify through point: Select the point through which you want the copy to pass.

Select entity: Select another entity that you want to parallel.

To specify the layer where the offset entities are created

Choose Layer.

Enter layer option for offset entities [Current/Source]: To create an offset entity on the current layer, choose Current. To create an offset entity on the layer of the source entity, choose Source.
