Explore Layouts

Displays the Explorer with the Layouts element selected. When the Explorer displays in a dialog window, you can also copy layouts from one open drawing to another.

Use the toolbar or right-click a layout to choose from common Explorer tools and layout-specific tools such as Layout from Template, Save as Template, Export Layout to Model, Layer States Manager, Page Setup Manager, Print, or Publish (when multiple layouts are selected).

The following columns are available:

Layout Name Displays the layout name.

Lower-left Limits Displays the coordinates of the lower-left corner of the layout.

Upper-right Limits Displays the coordinates of the upper-right corner of the layout.

Paper Space Linetype Scale If turned on, linetype scaling in layout viewports is always the same regardless of the zoom factor. If turned off, no special linetype scaling is applied. This setting only applies to layouts, not the model. (This setting corresponds to the PSLTSCALE system variable.)

Layout Viewports Displays the number of viewports in the layout.

Page Setup Choose the page setup to assign to the layout. To change page setups, choose Page Setup Manager to open the Page Setup Manager dialog box.

Print Status Displays the status of the layout for printing and publishing.
