Keyboard: ATTACH

Attaches an external file to the drawing.

In the dialog box that displays, select from the following types: .dwg files; .pdf files; .dwf files; .dgn files; point cloud (.pcg, .rcp, .rcs) files; image files; and BIM (.ifc, .rvt, .rfa) files (if your program version supports them).

After an external file is attached, the () icon displays in the status bar, notifying that the drawing contains a linked external reference file.
