About Us

ProgeSOFT has been building CAD software since 1985, when we delivered our first library of graphic symbols to ABB. Headquartered in Chiasso, Switzerland, we develop progeCAD Professional, a DWG-native 2D/3D CAD platform for Windows, and iCADMac, its macOS counterpart, along with vertical applications and plugins for architecture, mechanical, electrical, GIS, and HVAC/piping design. In 1999 we co-founded the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium, and we remain an executive member to this day.

Four decades in, progeCAD is used by more than 250,000 drafters, designers, and engineers in over 70 countries, localized into more than a dozen languages. Our customers range from independent architectural practices and small manufacturers to engineering teams inside organizations such as ABB, Airbus, Boeing, Kone, Samsung, Schneider Electric, and Pirelli. We ship a major release every year, sell through an established European reseller network, and have kept customers for decades on a perpetual-license model at a fraction of incumbent pricing. This is a stable, profitable, quietly durable business.

What's changed is the ambition. ProgeSOFT is now PE-backed and for the first time in our history we have both the capital and the mandate to grow deliberately. North America is where we're putting that first given the enormous amount of open ground.

About the Role

We're hiring a Channel Manager to own North America. You'll inherit existing relationships in the market and build the rest of the network from there.  This means recruiting, onboarding, and activating value-added resellers (VARs) and channel partners across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

This is a build-it role in the truest sense. There is no playbook waiting for you, no regional marketing team, and no established brand recognition to lean on. You'll design the commercial programs that make partners want to sell our product, build the tools and content to arm them, and support demand-generation programs that keep the pipeline full. In the first year you will be doing this work yourself, not delegating it.

Career opportunities here grow with your success, including regional leadership.

What You'll Do

Channel Development

  • Manage and grow existing reseller relationships in the market, ensuring they have what they need to hit growth targets
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new resellers and VARs across the US, Canada, and Mexico, prioritizing partners with existing CAD, engineering software, or complementary technology sales channels
  • Build a partner recruitment pipeline and evaluation criteria (market coverage, technical capability, existing customer base, sales capacity)

Partner Programs & Enablement

  • Design and implement reseller commission and incentive structures that are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with growth goals
  • Establish partner tiers, deal registration, pricing guidelines, and program terms
  • Develop onboarding and sales training so new resellers can sell and support the product effectively
  • Support resellers with co-brandable website content, sales collateral, and social media assets they can use in their own markets

Grow Our Presence

  • Develop and grow events and programs (webinars, trade shows, digital campaigns, co-marketing with resellers) to build product awareness across the region
  • Partner with resellers on joint marketing activities and track their effectiveness
  • Work with product marketing to localize European positioning and messaging for North American audiences and use cases

Reporting & Strategy

  • Own the North American channel revenue forecast and pipeline
  • Track partner performance against targets and manage underperformance or partner exit where needed
  • Report regularly to leadership on channel health, program ROI, and market expansion progress

Who You Are

This role will suit someone who is energized by an unbuilt environment. Specifically:

  • A self-starter who sets the agenda. No one will hand you a quarterly plan. You'll decide what matters, sequence it, and report on it.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. Pricing, positioning, and program terms for this region don't exist yet. You'll propose the first version, test it in the market, and revise it.
  • A doer, not a delegator. You'll write the partner deck, run the webinar, and work the trade show booth yourself before there's a team to do it for you.
  • Genuinely interested in demand generation, not just partner management. Awareness-building is half the job in a market where almost no one knows our name.
  • Able to work across a distance and a time zone gap with a European headquarters, and to translate what works in Europe into what will work here.

What You'll Bring

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in channel/partner management, ideally in software or technology
  • Proven track record recruiting, onboarding, and growing a reseller or VAR network from an early or nascent stage
  • Experience designing partner commission, incentive, or rebate programs
  • Hands-on demand-generation experience — you've built and run the campaigns, not just briefed an agency
  • Comfort operating independently in a remote, early-stage-in-region role with significant autonomy
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the US, Canada, and Mexico (estimate 25%)
  • Likes to have fun and can build a collaborative working environment

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience selling or managing channel for CAD, PLM, or other engineering/design software
  • Existing relationships with CAD resellers, VARs, or the broader design/engineering software ecosystem
  • Experience supporting partners with marketing content — website assets, social media, sales collateral
  • Experience running partner or channel demand-generation programs (webinars, trade shows, co-marketing)

What Success Looks Like

  • A growing, active reseller network across all three countries, not just inherited partners
  • A documented, working commission and partner program that resellers understand and are motivated by
  • Partner-facing content library (web, social, sales collateral) in active use by the channel
  • Measurable increase in regional product awareness and lead flow tied to partner marketing programs
  • Reliable channel revenue forecasting and reporting cadence with leadership
