Exporting to an ACIS format file

You can export ACIS entities such as surfaces, regions, and solids to an ACIS format file in ASCII (SAT) format.

To export an ACIS format file

   1   Do one of the following:

    On the ribbon, choose the Application button then choose Export, or choose Output > Export.

    On the menu, choose File > ACIS Out.

    Type acisout and then press Enter.

   2   Select the ACIS entities you want to save.

   3   Specify the name of the file you want to create.

   4   Click Save.
