Remove Rect Region

Ribbon: Raster Draw > Edit > Remove > Remove Rect Region

Remove a rectangular region from within the image.

Rub does not just temporarily hide the raster data from the display but permanently modifies the raster data in the image.

This command can operate on only one image at a time.

PROCEDURE:

• Select the image by clicking its image frame.

• Select the area from which you want to remove data by specifying three points that define the base and height of the rectangular area. The first point corresponds to the lower-left corner, and the second point to the lower-right corner together, they define the base of the rectangle. The third point defines the height of the rectangular area.

Note: When an image is modified using any tool from the Raster Draw module, changes made to the original image file may affect any other drawings that reference the same image. For more information, refer to Effect of Editing an Image.
