Multiple copy

Copies more the one object by using the options: repeat, array, divide and measure.

To execute the multiple copy of objects

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Choose Express > Modify > Multiple Copy.
    • Type copym and then press Enter.
  2. Select the entities to copy and press Enter key.
  3. Specify a base point.
  4. Digit one of the following method of entering and press Enter:
    • Repeat (last) Repeats the copy command by using the last offset. To be able to use this option its needed to make a copy specifying manually the first offset point for the copy.
    • Divide Divides the specified distance by the number of parts defined by the user. Select a point to determine the interval to be divided into, digit the number of copies and press Enter.
    • Measure Copies the selected entities at a distance specified by the user in a defined interval. Select a point to determine the interval to be measured, and then specify the distance among the copies. Pick (dynamic) Specify a point to select the angle or digit an angular value and press Enter.
    • Array (dynamic) Digit one of the following method of entering and press Enter:
      • Pick (dynamic) Specify a point to select the angle or type an angular value and press Enter key. Click a point to determine the distance between the lines and the columns. Specify with the mouse another point to determine the area to be filled. Press Enter key to end.
      • Measure Specify a point to select the angle or digit an angular value and press Enter. Click a point to determine the distance between the lines and the columns. Specify with the mouse another point to determine the area to be filled.
      • Divide Specify a point to select the angle or digit an angular value then press Enter. Click a point to determine the distance between the lines and the columns. Digit the number of columns and press Enter. Digit the number of lines and press Enter.
