Text Data to Excel

Ribbon: Output > Data > Text Data to Excel

Keyboard: TEXTTOEXCEL

This command exports the type, layer, string content, and X, Y, Z coordinates of a selected text or MText object to an Excel file.

PROCEDURE:

• Run the TEXTTOEXCEL command.
• Select the the text or MText object whose data you want to export .
• In the dialog box that opens, specify the location and name of the Excel file to create.
• Press Enter to complete the export.
