Merge Layers

Keyboard: LAYMRG

This command allows you to merge selected layers into a target layer, removing them from the drawing.

The following prompt is displayed:

Select object on layer to merge or [Name]: select an object in the drawing on the layer to be merged, or enter N (Name) to open a dialog box listing the layers.

Select object on target layer or [Name]: Select an object in the drawing on the layer that will receive the merged entities, or enter N (Name) to open a dialog box listing the layers.
