Export STEP (.stp .step .ste)

 

Ribbon: Output > Export > Export STEP

Menu: File > Export > Export STEP

Toolbar: PCAD > Export > Export STEP

Keyboard: STEPOUT

This function allows you to export the 3D model in STEP format. The supported entities are: 3D Solid, Body, Region, and Surface.
Please note that the process may take several minutes and runs in the background. During the conversion process, you can continue to use progeCAD normally.

PROCEDURE:

• Do one of the following:

• Output > Export > Export STEP

• Type STEPOUT and press Enter

• Specify the file to which the model will be exported
• Select a 3D Solid, Body, Region, or Surface to export and press Enter
• A message related to the background process will be shown. You only need to press the OK button
• A dialog appears indicating that the process has completed and asks whether you want to open the output folder
• When the process is ended, a balloon message is shown in the progeCAD down-right corner
