AddOn - Advanced functions

 

The Add-on menu contains advanced features that are exclusive to the progeCAD software.

 

  • iCADLib - Blocks Manager: Blocks Manager. Thanks to a completely renewed interface and improved performance of the famous ALE Block Manager, it will become your perfect everyday companion for blocks management. More than 20.000 2D/3D blocks (Construction, Architectural, ANSI-ISO and DIN-ISO Mechanics, ANSI and IEC Electrical, Electronic, Steel Profiles, Furniture, Kitchen).
  • ESRI Shape: ESRI Shape importer. Allows you to access existing spatial and attribute data in ESRI Shapefiles (.shp), where geometry and attribute data are stored.
  • Perspective Image Correction. This tools allows you to modify the images with perspective distortion.
  • Raster to vector: convert image to DWG. WinTopo is a high quality tool for converting raster images to vector data.
  • Convert PDF to DWG: one click conversion. progeCAD converts vector PDF engineering drawings into editable DWG/DXF objects. It accurately reproduces lines, shapes, and text. Save time by easily moving projects, details, and parts from existing vector PDFs — such as catalogs, manuals, and existing projects — and use them as native CAD models. It is compatible with layered PDFs and preserves the same layer structure as the original PDF.
  • Publishing 3D Models to Google Earth: show your projects on Google Earth®. progeCAD add-on application for Google Earth® is useful in viewing your CAD models in the Google Earth® environment, rich in maps and satellite images. Publish your CAD model in Google Earth® exporting a .kmz file.
  • Exporting 3D Models to 3D PDF file: convert a 3D CAD model into a 3D PDF file. By using this function, you can generate, for example, an interactive electronic brochure in which your 3D model can be explored without any CAD knowledge.
  • progeCAD Converter: allows you to change the file format of one or more existing files without opening them into one of the available file formats.
  • Triangulate: through this function, it is possible to create a TIN (Triangulated Irregular Network) from a set of unordered points.
  • AutoSEZ: With AutoSEZ PlugIn for progeCAD, it is possible to automatically extract Sections/Profiles of the ground from different types of 3D models and to draw their relative quoted cartouche.
  • Slope Lines: these functions allow you to convert existing polylines, splines, and areas between level curves into slope lines.
