Ungrouping entities

When you ungroup entities, the group breaks apart into separate entities. The entities remain in the drawing but the group is removed.

To ungroup entities

   1   Do one of the following to choose Ungroup ():

    On the ribbon, choose Home > Ungroup (in Groups).

    On the menu, choose Modify > Groups > Ungroup.

    On the Groups toolbar, click the Ungroup tool.

    Type ungroup and then press Enter.

   2   Select the group that you want to break into separate source entities.

   3   If the selected entity belongs to more than one group, do one of the following at the prompt that displays:

    Choose Accept to break up the group at the highest level.

    Choose Next to cycle through nested groups. When the group that you want to break up is highlighted, press Enter.
