Drawing Settings - Quick Properties tab
The Quick Properties tab of the Drawing Settings dialog box allows you to change the behavior of the Quick Properties pane. The Quick Properties pane always displays when double-clicking an entity that does not have a double-click action assigned.
DIALOG BOX OPTIONS
Display the Quick Properties Pane on Selection Mark to turn on the display of the Quick Properties pane when an entity is selected in the drawing and no command is active. (This setting corresponds to the QPMODE system variable.) When marked, choose one of the following options:
- All Entities Select to turn on the display of the Quick Properties pane when any entity is selected and a command is not active.
- Only Entities with Specified Properties Select to display the Quick Properties pane only for entities that have properties specified in the Quick Properties area of the Customize User Interface dialog box.
Cursor-dependent Select to display the Quick Properties pane relative to the cursor location, below and to the right of the cursor. (This setting corresponds to the QPLOCATION system variable.)
Static Select to display the Quick Properties pane in a fixed location without reference to the cursor. To specify a new location, click and drag the pane. The next time the pane opens, it displays at the same location. (This setting corresponds to the QPLOCATION system variable.)
Collapse Pane Automatically Mark to display a collapsed version of the Quick Properties pane. When the cursor hovers over it, it automatically expands to display all defined quick properties for the selected entity.
Minimum Number of Rows Enter the number of properties to display when the Quick Properties pane displays as collapsed. (Available only if Collapse Pane Automatically is marked.)
Use a shortcut. On the status bar when no entities are selected, click Quick Properties On/Off to turn display on selection on or off. Or press Ctrl+Shift+P.
