Using runtime extension applications
Runtime extension interfaces are available for developers to create custom entities and applications. Runtime extension applications include IRX, ARX, CRX, DBX, and TX.
To load a runtime extension custom application
Advanced experience level
1 Do one of the following:
• Select Load Application from the ribbon or the menu.
• Type appload and then press Enter.
• Drag and drop the IRX, ARX, CRX, DBX, or TX file into progeCAD.
2 In the Load Application Files dialog box, click Add File.
3 Select the IRX, ARX, CRX, DBX, or TX file that you want to load, and then click Open.
To run a runtime extension custom application
Advanced experience level
1 Do one of the following:
• Select Load Application from the ribbon or the menu.
• Type appload and then press Enter.
2 In the Load Application Files dialog box, choose the routine you want to run (make sure that it is the only one selected), and then click Load.
Runtime extension applications can also be run automatically when the program starts.
