Sets geographic location data to the drawing and inserts an online map. An Internet connection is required.

To set the location using a file

Set location from [Map/File/Current location]: Choose File to set the geographic location using data from a .kml (Keyhole Markup Language) or .kmz (compressed KML) file. In the dialog box that displays, select the file, then click Open. The first location mark defined in the selected file is used to place the red geographic marker in the drawing.

Specify coordinate system [? to list/WORLD-MERCATOR]: Choose ? to list all coordinate systems that are available for the geographic location you selected. Or press Enter to use the World-Mercator coordinate system which is the default.

To set the location using latitude and longitude values

Set location from [Map/File/Current location]: Choose Map.

Specify latitude: Enter the latitude value.

Specify longitude: Enter the longitude value.

Specify coordinate system [? to list/WORLD-MERCATOR]: Choose ? to list all coordinate systems that are available for the geographic location you selected. Or press Enter to use the World-Mercator coordinate system which is the default.

To set the location using your current location

Set location from [Map/File/Current location]: Choose Current location. Make sure location access is turned on for your computer.

Specify coordinate system [? to list/WORLD-MERCATOR]: Choose ? to list all coordinate systems that are available for the geographic location you selected. Or press Enter to use the World-Mercator coordinate system which is the default.
