Keyboard: SELECTSIMILAR

Searches for entities that match properties of other entities. The entities with properties that match are then added to the selection set. The selection set can be reused in other commands either through the pick-first selection or by selecting the previous selection.

Select entities or [SEttings]: To select the entities that have one or more properties you want to match, select those entities. To specify the properties you want to find in other entities, choose SEttings.

The SELECTSIMILARMODE system variable also controls the settings of the Select Similar Settings dialog box.

DIALOG BOX OPTIONS

Color Select if you want to find entities that match the color of selected entities.

Layer Select if you want to find entities that match the layer of selected entities.

Linetype Select if you want to find entities that match the linetype of selected entities.

Linetype Scale Select if you want to find entities that match the linetype scale of selected entities.

Lineweight Select if you want to find entities that match the lineweight of selected entities.

Print Style Select if you want to find entities that match the print style assigned to selected entities.

Entity Style Select if you want to find entities that match the style (text style, dimension style, multileader style, multiline style) assigned to selected entities.

Name Select if you want to find entities that match the name of selected entities.

Entity Type Select if you want to find entities that match the type of selected entities. By default this is turned on. For example, if you select a circle, only circles will be searched for other matched properties. If not selected, all entity types will be searched.
