Reverses the last change made to layer settings, for example, the color, freeze/thaw state, lineweight, etc. You can repeat the command to reverse a set of changes one-by-one.

The Layer Previous command doesn't restore the original name of a layer if it was renamed, restore the layer if it was deleted or purged, or remove it if it was added.
