Keyboard: BACKGROUND

Specifies settings for the background of the current view. In the dialog box that opens you can set the type, color, position and other background configurations.

DIALOG BOX OPTIONS

Type Choose Solid to apply a solid-color background to a named view. Choose Gradient to apply a two- or three-color gradient background. Choose Image to use an image for a background. Choose None to turn off the background.

Preview Displays the preview of the background.

The options that display vary depending on which type of background you choose.

Solid Options

Color Select the color you want to use as a background for a named view.

Gradient Options

Three Color Mark this check-box to use a three-color gradient as a background. If not marked, a two-color gradient is created.

Top Color Select the color you want to use at the top of the gradient.

Middle Color Select the color you want to use in the middle of the gradient. Available only when Three Color is checked.

Bottom Color Select the color you want to use at the bottom of the gradient.

Rotation Enter a number to specify the rotation angle of the gradient, relative to the boundary. Positive numbers rotate the pattern clockwise; negative numbers rotate the pattern counter-clockwise.

Image Options

Browse In the Select Image File dialog box, choose the filename of the image that you want to use as a background.

Adjust Image Click to open the Adjust Background Image dialog box which allows you to specify such settings as position, scale, offset, etc. for the image that you want to apply as a background.
