Alias: BO, BPOLY
Creates a polyline or region (if supported by your program version) from an area enclosed by a single closed entity or by multiple entities that intersect.
DIALOG BOX OPTIONS
Pick Internal Points Click () to specify a point inside an enclosed area to define the boundary. If desired, continue clicking inside additional closed perimeters, and then press Enter when done.
Select Boundary Set Optionally click () to specify a limited set of entities in the drawing that will define the boundary. This can make the process of boundary defining faster when you are working with complex drawings.
- All Visible Entities Considers all visible entities in the current viewport when defining a boundary. This option is the default until you click Select Boundary Set.
- Current Selection Set Considers only the entities that you optionally specify in the drawing to define the boundary set. This option is available after you click Select Boundary Set and select entities in the drawing.
Island Detection Mark to consider all internal, closed boundaries, called islands, for defining a boundary.
Entity Type Select whether to create the boundary as a polyline or region (if supported by your program version).
