Working with the progeCAD Explorer - Using the progeCAD Explorer

Purging elements

From within the progeCAD Explorer, you can eliminate unused blocks, layers, linetypes, text styles, or dimension styles from your drawing file. Purging unused elements can significantly reduce the drawing file size. For detail See To purge the items not used in the drawing.

To purge an element
  1. Do one of the following:
  2. Choose Tools > progeCAD Explorer.
  3. Type explayers and then press Enter.
  4. Type explorer and then press Enter.
  5. Select the element from which you want to purge unreferenced elements.
  6. From the Standard toolbar, select the Purge tool (
  7. ).
    The main drawing window appears.
  1. From the prompt box, select Yes to purge the element listed in the command line, or select Yes To All to purge all unused elements.
