Creating complex entities - Drawing wipeouts

Drawing wipeouts using polygons and polylines

Wipeouts are created using existing polygons, closed zero-width polylines made up of only line segments, or new polylines that you draw while using the Wipeout com-mand.

To draw a wipeout
  1. Do one of the following:
  2. Choose Draw > Wipeout.
  3. Type wipeout and then press Enter.
  4. Specify the start point.
  5. Specify the endpoint of each segment.
  6. After specifying the last endpoint, choose Done or press Enter.

To create a wipeout using an existing polygon or polyline
  1. Do one of the following:
  2. Choose Draw > Wipeout.
  3. Type wipeout and then press Enter.
  4. Choose Polyline.
  5. Select the closed polyline to use for the wipeout.
  6. Choose one of the following:
  7. Yes -- Creates the wipeout and deletes the polyline used to create the wipeout.
  8. No -- Creates the wipeout and keeps the polyline used to create the wipeout.
