Copies entities using multiple options.
Select entities: Select the entities that you want to copy.
Base point: Specify the base point to use for placement of copies.
Second point or [Repeat last/Divide/Measure/Array dynamic/Undo]: Specify the point where you want the copy to be placed. To place a new copy at the same offset from the previously placed copy, choose Repeat (last). To create a linear array by specifying the number of copies, choose Divide. To create a linear array by specifying the distance between copies, choose Measure. To create multiple copies in a rectangular pattern, choose Array (dynamic).
To create a linear array by specifying the number of copies
Choose Divide.
Specify division ending point: Specify a point that determines the distance and direction for the array relative to the base point. The last copy in the array is placed at the second point and the remaining copies are fit in between the base point and the division ending point.
Number of copies: Specify the number of copies you want to create.
To create a linear array by specifying the distance between copies
Choose Measure.
Specify measure ending point: Specify a point that determines the distance and direction for the array relative to the base point.
Distance between copies: Specify the distance to use between copies you want to create.
To create an array by placing one copy at a time
Choose Array (dynamic).
Pick (dynamic)/Measure/Divide <Pick>: To specify a location for one array element at a time, press Enter.
Specify angle: Specify the angle of UCS rotation.
Specify point to set the offset distance: Specify a point to set the offset from the selected entities. The cursor will be constrained to regular intervals at the specified offset so you can place array elements one by one.
Pick location for array element or Enter when done: Pick a point to place a copy of the selected entities. Continue to specify additional points for placing copies. Press Enter when done.
To create a rectangular array by specifying the spacing between rows and columns
Choose Array (dynamic).
Pick (dynamic)/Measure/Divide <Pick>: Choose Measure.
Specify angle: Specify the angle of UCS rotation.
Specify corner point to set row and column spacing: Specify a point that determines the horizontal and vertical spacing between rows and columns.
Specify corner point for array fill: Specify a point that determines the rectangular area that the array will fill.
To create an array by specifying the number of rows and columns
Choose Array (dynamic).
Pick (dynamic)/Measure/Divide <Pick>: Choose Divide.
Specify corner point for array fill: Specify a point that determines the rectangular area that the array will fill.
Number of columns: Enter the number of columns you want in the array.
Number of rows: Enter the number of rows you want in the array.
